Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of socialorbit.net and to the website design, development, hosting and SEO services provided by Socialorbit Technologies ("Socialorbit", "we", "us"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We design and build landing pages, business websites and e-commerce stores, and offer add-ons such as managed hosting and on-page SEO. The exact scope of each project is set out in your quote.

2. Quotes and pricing

• Prices shown on our website are starting prices. Every project receives a fixed quote after a free consultation, so you know the cost before work begins.
• Package limits apply: landing pages include 1 page, business websites up to 12 pages, and e-commerce stores up to 20 products and 8 pages. Extra pages are $49 each; extra products and custom features are quoted up front.
• Promotional prices, such as our 10-Year Anniversary Offer, apply to projects quoted while the offer is shown on our website.
• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

3. Payment

Payment terms are set out in your quote or invoice. Work begins once the agreed payment has been received. Prices do not include third-party costs, such as domain names, premium themes, plugins or platform subscriptions, unless your quote says so.

4. Refunds

If work on your project has not started, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your payment. Once work has started, payments are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Revisions and timelines

We do not limit revision rounds within the agreed scope. Changes that add new pages, features or functionality are quoted separately. Timelines in quotes are estimates and depend on receiving content, feedback and approvals from you on time.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information, content and timely feedback.
• Make sure you have the right to use any text, images, logos or other material you give us.
• Review your website before launch and tell us about any changes you need.

7. Ownership

Once your project is paid in full, you own your website's design, content and the accounts set up in your name, including your domain. We may keep and reuse our general tools, code libraries and methods. We may show your completed website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

8. Hosting

Website packages include the first year of managed hosting free. Before that year ends, we will tell you the renewal price, and you can choose to continue with our hosting or move your website elsewhere. Our hosting comes with a 99.9% uptime guarantee, excluding scheduled maintenance and events outside our reasonable control.

9. Third-party services

Your website may use third-party platforms and services, such as WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, payment gateways or Google services. Their use is subject to their own terms and fees, and we are not responsible for their availability or changes they make.

10. Use of our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. The content, design and graphics on socialorbit.net belong to Socialorbit or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent. Client websites shown in our portfolio belong to their owners.

11. Disclaimers

We build every website carefully, but we do not guarantee specific results, such as search rankings, traffic or sales. Our website and services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Socialorbit is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

13. Ending a project

Either party may end a project by giving written notice. If a project ends after work has started, you pay for the work completed up to that point, and we hand over the completed work once that payment is received.

14. Disputes

If a problem arises, please email us first so we can try to resolve it quickly and in good faith. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where Socialorbit Technologies is established.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. Changes do not affect projects already agreed in writing.
